Reflecting on the glorious past of Islam there should be no concern for regret but rather we should redefine the role of Islam to retain and sustain its glory for the future.

With civilization, which is a driving force, an awareness can be created amongst mankind about the correct purpose of life on earth. With this awareness and by using the correct and practical principles every effort can be made in every aspect, to guide and enhance the glory of Islam again. The glory of a civilization cannot be inherited without effort and it has to be preserved with care and saved from decline.

 It is in this context that the Seminar Secretariat of Kolej Islam Darul Ridzuan plans to organize an International Seminar on Islamic Civilization (ISCIS)  to view Islamic Civilization of the past, present and the future from various perspectives, namely religious, political, educational, social, economical, language, art, counseling, administrative, science  and technological aspects.
